The homeowner had been dealing with a leaking chimney for years. Several contractors had attempted to stop the leaking, but failed to recognize the mortar damage and improper flashing were the primary issue. Because the chimney was no longer in use, we elected to remove the chimney, reframe the area, and tie in new shingles to the roof system.
